What I did in September 2021

Been kind of a slow month for me. Hurricane Ida pretty much ruined this month and probably parts of October. It flooded my basement of my building and they had to turn off the gas and am currently waiting on them to do checks from the city to get it back on. But anyway going to change up this since my last post was a copy of what most people do on YouTube. Here goes in no particular order.

To your Eternity

Saw the first couple of episodes when it was airing but pretty much forgot about this one. Finished it on Crunchyroll and it was amazing. I laughed I cried mostly cried but had a fun ride and hopefully it continues with season 2. Every episode kept me on the edge of my seat and pretty surprising on how things turned out.

The Expanse Season 5

A great season overall. Didn’t miss a step with amazon bringing the show back. Probably getting a season 6 and can’t wait to see what the gang would fight next. The main cast was split up this season but I liked the change up. It’s good to see how each member acted without each other to help them. But it does kind of reinforced how much they needed each other. It was pretty much a mess by the end. Without too much spoilers but the gang really needs Holden to keep them safe.

Dave and Buster’s

Fun fact I’ve only been to D&B once before the pandemic so it was a nice comparison. Not much really changed except like other similar places they switched to digital cards. Like last time I only went since friends went I’m probably not the targeted crowd. But I can see the appeal. Also can’t remember but was it always so dark inside? Time felt nonexistent to me when we were walking around. We started around 4pm and left at 8pm. I honestly couldn’t tell that almost 4 hours had past.

Spotify Premium

So for some reason I switched over to just podcasts ever since I got out of college. No music/rarely have songs on my phone to listen to on commutes. I guess after the music drought I finally had enough. Podcasts just isn’t doing it for me anymore. Unlimited skips and offline downloads are a nice perk.

Shang Chi

Going to end it on a high note, Shang Chi was amazing. Not the best Marvel Movie but it’s pretty good considering it is Marvel’s first in theater movie since Spiderman. The fights was good and the main villain is up there with the likes of Killmonger.

That’s it for September I probably forgot a few things but they probably weren’t worth writing about. Still doing the Eva 3.0+1.0 write up, while it was a straightforward film it’s about a ton of stuff and has many layers.
